More Alliance Customers Blocking Our Streets...

A constant parade of Alliance customers block our streets. This is on Magnolia...but you'll see them on Peralta, 34th, 32nd, Union...all over the neighborhood. Notice the abandoned shopping cart in the 1st photo. Many times Alliance customers don't even bother to wheel "their" carts back home but prefer to dump them in front of our homes...even right in the middle of the street.

Occupy Dogtown...

A neighbor recently referred to Alliance's customers as Occupy Dogtown. Alliance (red building in the background) attracts a mob of people that have literally taken over our neighborhood. They squat in front of the park across from Alliance Metals. They drink, litter, do drugs and urinate...among other things. The City of Oakland is constantly having to send the police out to deal with Alliance's customers. Jay (the owner of Alliance) does nothing to mitigate this sad situation. All he does is kick back and collect the profits. None of it goes back into improving the quality of life of those who live near Alliance.

More Signage Unenforced by Alliance Metals...

Alliance customers routinely unload and sort recycling on our streets and sidewalks. Many times making it difficult for those in the neighborhood or traveling through the neighborhood to get by. All Alliance activity is supposed to happen within Alliance walls. But Alliance's business has grown so much that it spills out onto our neighorhood and negatively effects our quality of life.

Alliance Post Signs but Doesn't Enforce the Rules...

This is part of the problem with Alliance. They claim to monitor and police their customers. But in reality all they provide the community is lip service. Same thing with their "security guards". They will sometimes walk around (not so much lately) but they dont' do anything when they see their customers behaving badly (e.g., drinking, doing drugs, urinating, etc). Alliance is a very irresponsible neighbor. A neighbor that the community is tired of.
