An Alliance Customer Encampment on the I-80 On-Ramp...
This is a dangerous location for an encampment...but it is only 2 blocks away from Alliance. Convenient for Alliance customers to turn in their stolen recycling...
Peek-a-boo...an Alliance customer peers over the encampment. The person who took this photo said she had to runaway because the customer was yelling and throwing things at her.
An Typical Alliance Story (told in 14 photos)...
Alliance Metals is open for the day and a drug dealer is lurking in the neighborhood...
He hangs around the back side of Alliance Metals (other dealer hang elsewhere, some dealing from their cars)...
An Alliance customer comes by after getting money from stolen recycling, with a stolen shopping cart in tow (...this customer is a regular of Alliance and Alliance continues to accept her business)...
They sit hiding behind Alliance Metals make the transaction and sample the goods. Notice Alliance's security camera at the corner of the building? The neighbor who took this photo called Alliance Metals to let them know what's going on (seems the security camera is pointless).
Alliance's security guard finally comes out...
The drug dealer is told he has to go...
The Alliance customer (and guard) watch the dealer walk away...
Some sort of "discussion" goes on between the guard and the customer...
The customer also leaves and joins the dealer halfway down the block...
The dealer stands in the middle of the street (...just like many of Alliance's customers)...
Then both the dealer and Alliance customer disappear...but the stolen shopping cart is left in the middle of the street...
After a white truck navigates past the shopping cart, another red car does the same thing...
Oh, the Alliance customer is back...
Kids play on the sidewalk while all this is going on...
It's very frustrating for the neighbors. Alliance attracts also sorts of undesirable activity. And they do nothing to stop it. The truth is that Alliance cares more about making money (from our stolen recycling) rather than doing right by the neighbors. Alliance is a bad player that no one wants as a neighbor.
